I am a sustainable yoga mat made in natural rubber and cork illustrated with an elegant art deco pattern evoking the cells of a beehive.
I don’t bounce or fold : I stay flat on the floor during your practice ! Yes, I’m not just a pretty yoga mat : I am a professional and technical yoga mattress.
My cork surface is naturally non-slip and thanks to the natural moist of your hands and feet. The more you sweat, the better is the grip ! If you have dry hands, then I’m not the ideal mat for you. But if you have a tendency to have sweaty hands, I’m definitely the best yoga mat for you !
In addition to being a non slip yoga mat, my cork surface is naturally anti-bacterial which allows me to avoid developing bad smell. I’m the perfect hot yoga mat !
I still require maintenance once in a while, just like every rubber yoga mat. When you feel the need, spray me with a magical mix : half water and half white vinegar (+ possibly a few drops of organic fine lavender essential oil). Gently rub a soft sponge over my cork surface, without rubbing hard (you would not want not to damage it!) and let me dry flat. I’ll be clean again ! But keep in mind : I am not machine washable, it would damage me! Cork is a natural material that develops a natural patina over time. Observing a discoloration or wear of the cork on the areas the most in contact with your hands and feet is normal and will give me all my charm as an object used and loved, and it does not affect my grip in any way !
In addition to being made with natural material (natural rubber and cork), I am delivered in a packaging designed to limit waste and the use of plastic: I am wrapped in a seeded paper containing melliferous seeds. Once I’m unpacked, plant the packaging in the ground, it will sprout ! Does it make me a green yoga mat ? Somehow yes 🙂
I’m kept closed by an upcycled fabric tie and sent in a reused cardboard box. In the same logic of minimalism and waste reduction, I am delivered without carrying strap, thus leaving you the choice to acquire one or not.

The inks of the yoga mattress designs and the seeded paper are water-based.
This cork yoga mat is also a non-toxic yoga mat : our yoga mats are analyzed by an independant laboratory.
For each mat purchased, a donation of €2 is made to “Mécènes et Parrains d’Abeilles”, French association, to sow 3 to 4m2 of melliferous flowers in French agricultural wasteland.

Bonjour. J’ai acheté ce tapis de yoga en début d’année et franchement j’en suis super content. Sans nul doute le meilleur tapis pour pratiquer que j’ai eu. J’avais lu dans un commentaire qu’il fallait être plutôt une personne qui “transpire” pour mieux adhérer au tapis. Je confirme. Par chance je transpire facilement donc pas de souci au niveau de l’accroche. C’est du robuste et il est beau. Bref, super ! La version avec les motifs cellules de ruches est bien pratique comme repaire pour bien placer ses pieds. 🙂 J’espère que Yogamatata dura encore longtemps ! Merci pour ce travail de qualité !

I absolutely LOVE that yoga mat! It makes me want to show up for practice everyday: the soft real smell of it, the fact that it supports me so well (especially when the hands and feet heat up), and the lovely paper in which it’s wrapped and that has turned into nice little flowers on my balcony =)

Après quelques semaines d’utilisation je suis conquise par mon choix.
Ce tapis en plus d’avoir un très joli design est parfait pour ma pratique. Très stable, il adhère parfaitement au sol et est adapté en cas de transpiration. Et les motifs permettent de se repérer facilement au sol.
En bref, je suis ravie !

J’ai acheté ce tapis de yoga car je souffre d’hypersudation; c’est une transpiration excessive(notamment des mains et des pieds) qui m’empêchait de pratiquer du yoga avec des tapis classiques qui glissaient énormément.
J’en étais presque venu a arrêter le yoga car la pratique devenait de plus en plus compliquée, je sortais frustrée d’une session de yoga dans laquelle je n’avais pas pu réussir des positions mêmes toutes simples comme le chien tête en bas car je glissais trop.
Ce tapis est parfait pour moi, c’est exactement ce que je recherchais, je ne glisse plus du tout.
D’autant plus qu’il est associé à toute une démarche éco-responsable qui est absolument formidable.
Ce tapis est devenu mon indispensable de tous les jours alors juste merci!

Ils sont parfait ces tapis, il n’existe pas mieux ! ça fait plusieurs années que j’utilise le mien, les desseins juste un peu estompés sinon il n’a pas bougé.
On a une bonne accroche même avec des pratiques ou on transpire beaucoup, il n’est pas élastique donc on a une bonne stabilité. Amorti suffisant pour ne pas avoir mal aux genoux. Lisse ne fait pas de marques aux mains. Et durable. J’espère que cette marque va perdurer.
