I am an eco-friendly yoga mat made of recycled natural rubber and cork, and I am made in Portugal! I am super ecological, ethical and eco-responsible. I’m also a printed yoga mat that gives you motivation to practice on a beautiful and durable material !

A NON-SLIP YOGA MAT

I am a professional quality mat, perfectly adapted to everyone ! The beginners to experienced yogis : the recycled yoga mat fits for all ! My cork surface is good for sweat, hands down !

My cork surface is naturally non-slip thanks to the natural humidity of your hands and feet. The more you sweat, the more I stick! This makes me a great hot yoga mat ! If you have dry hands, I am not the ideal mat for you. But if you have sweaty hands, I’m the best yoga mat for you !

In addition to being a non-slip yoga mat, my cork surface is naturally anti-bacterial which helps me avoid developing a bad smell. 

HOW DO I CLEAN MY YOGA MAT?

I’m a durable yoga mat but I still require regular maintenance, like every yoga mat. When you feel the need, spray me with a mixture of water and a little of non surgras (non greasy) soap (Marseille soap, Black soap…), and gently wipe my cork surface with a soft sponge, without rubbing hard to avoid damaging it, and let me dry flat. I’ll be all clean again! Be careful, I am not machine washable, it would damage me! Cork is a natural material that develops a natural patina over time. To observe a light discoloration or wear of the cork on the points most in contact with your hands and your feet is normal and will give me all my charm of object used with love, and that does not deteriorate in any way my adherence ! 

AN ECOLOGICAL YOGA MAT

I am an eco-friendly yoga mat, delivered in a packaging designed to limit waste and the use of plastic: I am wrapped in a seeded paper containing seeds of honey flowers. Once your cork yoga mat is unpacked, plant the packaging in the ground, it will bloom! I am kept closed by a cork link and sent in a reusable box.

In the same logic of minimalism, I am delivered without a carrying strap, thus leaving you the choice to acquire one or not for your yoga mattress.

I am a French yoga mat, 100% made in Portugal! I have two nationalities 😉

My overlay is made of cork from sustainably managed forests in the Alentejo region.

My underlay is made from recycled rubber (from the shoe industry in northern Portugal) mixed with recycled cork scraps. My printing is non-toxic UV printing, made in Portugal, by a local company in the Porto region. I’m both a cork yoga mat and a rubber yoga mat all together ! 

I’m also a non toxic yoga mat : The Yogamatata yoga mats are analyzed in an independent laboratory and are compliant with Europe, US and Canada regulation.
