ADVICE OF USE OF OUR CANDLES FOR YOGA
For an optimal combustion of your candle:
- We advise you to burn the candle by sessions of 1 to 3 hours, and no more than 4 hours in a row.
- Let the candle burn until the wax is melted on all the surface to avoid that it digs thereafter.
- Before each lighting, cut the wick to about 0.5mm.
- Never leave unattended. The glass jar may be hot during burning, wait for the wax to cool before moving it.
WHERE ARE THESE YOGA CANDLES MADE?
These scented candles are all created in the “La Bougie Herbivore” workshop in Paris, where they are made with care and love.
WHAT EXACTLY DOES THE YOGA SCENTED CANDLES CONTAIN?
Each candle is made of natural, vegan and biodegradable soy wax. It is made of natural, vegan and biodegradable soya wax, with the addition of healthy and safe perfumes, recognized for their high quality, and that’s all! There are no toxic products, no CMR or GMO, no kerosene (which is a derivative of petroleum), no harmful and allergenic fragrances. Moreover, the wicks are made of cotton and guaranteed lead-free! Our handmade candles are vegan, recyclable and eco-friendly.
HOW LONG CAN I BURN MY “LA BOUGIE HERBIVORE” CANDLE?
You can burn your candle between 3 and 4 hours maximum, but we advise you to burn it in 2 hour intervals for more safety. Don’t forget to air the room well after burning and to regularly make sure that the wick remains straight to avoid blackening the edges of the pot. Always be careful when handling one of our glass jars after burning, they can be hot!
MY CANDLE BURNS TOO FAST OR SMOKES DURING THE COMBUSTION, WHAT CAN I DO?
To avoid this problem which occurs frequently, cut the wick of your candle before each use. You must leave about 5 mm to 1 cm maximum of wick for a better combustion. Indeed, when the wick is too high, it burns very quickly and this is when it can cause black smoke!
CAN I REUSE THE GLASS CONTAINERS WHEN MY CANDLES ARE FINISHED?
You can of course reuse our amber glass jars, we even strongly recommend it! To do so, simply clean the wax residue by rinsing the jar with hot water. Don’t forget to remove the metal wick holder from the bottom of the jar, dry it and then reuse it over and over again! You can use them as you wish: in vases, pencil jars, containers…
